On July 19, the White House Office of the National Cyber Director (“ONCD”) announced a request for information on cybersecurity regulatory harmonization and regulatory reciprocity (the “Request”). The Request is one of many initiatives arising out of the National Cybersecurity Strategy Implementation Plan released earlier this year, and is reflective of White House’s understanding that too many regulators are operating in this area without sufficient coordination.

Debevoise intends to submit a response to the Request ahead of the extended deadline of October 31, 2023. We want to hear from our readers and clients about how you would respond to the Request.

Please reach out to the Debevoise contacts listed below or CyberRFI@debevoise.com by October 15, 2023 to share your ideas or start a conversation.
