Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has been named a finalist in the “Best Tech Training Program Implementation” category at the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards. The firm was recognized for its innovative, AI-enabled compliance training programs developed for both internal audiences and clients’ in-house legal teams.

The nominated program leverages a suite of advanced AI tools to rapidly create bespoke, engaging, and auditable compliance training materials, including policy explainers, interactive videos, and knowledge-testing games. This approach allows the firm to deliver highly customized training in a fraction of the time and cost traditionally required, while maintaining rigorous legal review and oversight.

Developed through close collaboration between the firm’s AI Committee and AI Practice Group, the program was initially launched to support the firm’s updated AI policy and has since been extended to clients implementing or refreshing their own AI governance frameworks. The training model reflects the firm’s broader commitment to helping clients translate complex and evolving AI policies into practical and operational guidance.

Winners of the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards will be announced on March 9 during the Legalweek 2026 Conference in New York City.
